GCM Development Part 1-Get Project ID and Server API Key
For GCM development, SENDER ID and server API Key to be used in Server must be issued.
SENDER ID is required to generate Registration ID to receive GCM when developing a client, and API Key is required when transmitting GCM from the server.
First, go to the Google Developers service activation page.
Then click the Pick a platform button on the Google Developers service activation page.
Select Android App.
Enter the app name and package name, select a country, and click the Choose and configure service button.
Select the Cloud Messaging service.
Click the ENABLE GOOGLE CLOUDE MESSAGING button.
Server API Key and Sender ID have been issued.
The Server API Key and Sender ID have been issued, but we will continue with the next step to see how to develop the client.
Click Generate configuration files.
Download You can download the google-service.json file and use it when developing a client with Android Studio.
To develop Client, click Implement Cloud Messaging and refer to the development documentation.
For reference, if you want to check the created Sender ID and Server API Key again, proceed in the same way as when creating, and do not enter a new one in the screen where you entered "App name and package name". and click on configure services.
